If you haven't discovered Pinterest yet, you will be amazed at what you can find. Pinterest is a website where you can create a 'pin board' of anything that you might be researching or just a board to hold pictures of your favourite hobby. I have many boards. Ones on container homes; houseboats; tiny homes; music; humor; Australia; and Prepping. The ideas on the prepping boards are amazing and we were talking about what Mum & Dad did to 'refrigerate without electricity' and I searched under 'meat safe'. Up pops not only a meat safe, but a Koolgardie safe. So I then 'pinit' to my board on Prepping for future reference. We were really interested in what krull68 had posted on paper fire bricks, but the 'brick maker' would need to go to the back of the queue as getting the 1000lt tank we bought sorted is a priority. So I went onto Pinterest and one idea is to make much smaller ones using a caulking gun. We will eventually get the brick maker, but to get started now while its summer, hubby has a caulking gun that we can start the ball rolling immediately. Another thing you can do is make your board 'private' so only you can see it. Another resource to get valuable information from for our Prepping. www.pinterest.com

There IS an apf pinterest page Fwiw Do link please Also Matilda that idea RE the caulking gun is a ripper, I am pretty sure I have an old empty tube still (I usually bin them instantly) but anyway, for anyone else all you have to do is make one quick trip to any building site. @lina sorry, I got you two mixed up, little embarrassing but you both make so many good posts.

Daniel - this is one link on Pinterest using a caulking gun - but there are other ideas that people have used, ie dropping washers in to make 2/3 smaller ones instead of one large.

Awesome Matilda thank you, using some PVC that is clever too. Sorry I got you and another member mixed up, you both have made some quality posts so it happens.
