It hit the Northern Burbs of S.A about 8pm last night,..we have a tin roof and the hail on it sounded like someone was throwing rocks on it. There was no rain at first ....just hail....it was strange, but the lightning storm was awesome. Good drop of rain also, i reckon it filled up our 5K Gallon tank that was already about 2/3 rd's full

Very true Frank, utter chaos. I am in the eastern burbs of Melbourne, traffic was a killer getting to work today, but it's like that every time it rains.

Hope everyone is okay. Storms nowadays can get pretty nasty.

thanks OL but considering what has been passing through your neck of the woods, I am pretty sure we have very little to complain about. Well most of us.

This year has been pretty quiet here with respect to storms and typhoons. We have been lucky so far but last year, Typhoon Haiyan hit in November so we are not yet home free.
Whether big or small storms, always be safe. We never know what may happen.
