Anyone else have a decent sound and light show from mother nature last night?
Had a wild night here, but no damage to our area.
Melbourne looked like it copped it pretty hard, so hope any members down there are safe.

Its amazing how one storm (and not a particulary bad one in the scheme of things) can throw a city into chaos. Massive train delays, flights grounded, nightmare traffic; goes to show how fragile everything is.

It hit the Northern Burbs of S.A about 8pm last night,..we have a tin roof and the hail on it sounded like someone was throwing rocks on it. There was no rain at first ....just hail....it was strange, but the lightning storm was awesome. Good drop of rain also, i reckon it filled up our 5K Gallon tank that was already about 2/3 rd's full

This year has been pretty quiet here with respect to storms and typhoons. We have been lucky so far but last year, Typhoon Haiyan hit in November so we are not yet home free.

Whether big or small storms, always be safe. We never know what may happen.
