Thanks Jason, I reckon I'm ahead of the pack in regards to BOL and caches. But after reading this I've realised I'll never be fully prepared

Thanks for posting these up Jason, only just had time to sit down and have read now (still haven't got to the 2nd part yet). Great article, lots of info and makes you question and look twice at your plans/places/gear/ideas

It was a very good ready, fortunately I have been playing the game long enough to have actually heard most of the things this fellow talks about. Which is why my focus has been on small acreage farming, including cash crops (grains) production crops (fibre crops such as cotton). Just have to work up a good defensive situation.
Oh and if anyone has difficulty with miles to km conversion, 5 miles out = 8 km out of town and 2 miles off main road = 3.2 km off main road, minimum. 1 mile = 1.6 km or 1600 metres.
