www.infowars.com/now-theres-not-even-soap-maduro-heads-to-china-to-save-socialist-utopia-venezuela/Social media is awash with striking images of #EmptyShelvesInVenezuela (#AnaquelesVaciosEnVenezuela) as the evaporation of basic human staples such as toilet paper has now been hyperinflated to total chaos at warehouses and supermarkets. As President Maduro decries the loss of $100 oil “stability”, vowing to return oil prices to their rightful places (and heads to China for help), lines reach for miles for milk and soap… and the people defy governmental bans on photographing empty market shelves… “We couldn’t find shampoo, so we washed our hair with soap. Now there’s not even soap.” (It's worth following the link for the whole story)

This is one reason I'm glad I'm not on Bookface any more - no doubt the statists will be blaming non-socialist nations for this.

Wow, didn't even know that was going on over there. Crazy stuff, would be a spooky feeling walking into a supermarket and being absolutely nothing there.

A couple of things that popped into mind. - no talk of gun fights [might have been] for food/soap. - whilst I have most things, I could do with some soap in storage.

- whilst I have most things, I could do with some soap in storage. I was moving my stuff onto my new shelves and realised I have aheaps of clothes detergent and handwash, but no soap. *facepalm* Better get onto that!
