I generally work in the City during the week, commuting well over an hour each way and I just keep thinking that its going to be one hell of a walk home if the public transport system shuts down

I have tried.... She is coming around to my way of thinking slowly. The food storage and other life essentials that I stockpile is now a great way to save money and she goes along with it. Have tactical stashes and bug out gear, get home bags, fall back locations, communication indicators etc, etc is a long way off for her, while I have that kind of stuff organised for us I could never get her to EDC anything remotely prep related.

She is doing a self defense course soon though, it's a start.
