Hi, I recently purchased 2 new Tramontina Machetes and also picked up at a local swap meet a good old Hytest Forrester Axe and a Fayette Plumb 2 Bit Axe. I'm looking at purchasing this tool to put an edge on them, has anyone used or had any feedback on them?.

I'm thinking if the company has been around since 1886 they must be doing something right.

Its really only for a quick edge, don't get me wrong definitely handy thing to have for sure. But if you can learn how to use stones and traditional tools you will be able to get a much better edge, and control the edge too, so the way you like it. There are a ton of youtube videos on how to sharpen axes. Cool tool though
