Its really only for a quick edge, don't get me wrong definitely handy thing to have for sure. But if you can learn how to use stones and traditional tools you will be able to get a much better edge, and control the edge too, so the way you like it. There are a ton of youtube videos on how to sharpen axes. Cool tool though
