Wondering if anyone has bought through this eBay seller before? Seems to a great range of goods at pretty good prices, too. Question: how does one get in contact with these types if there are no contact details available??
Cheers.

You can contact every ebay seller through ebay. Go to the sellers page, It will have three links in the top right corner, Items for sale. visit store and contact. Thats what you want. I have seen them before, I ordered a bear grills survival knife for my little brothers birthday and it was real, I had checked it out before. Im not a gerber fan so i don't buy much from him.
Hope that helps.

I agree, i wouldn't recommend the packs, they aren't high quality. If you can afford something a little better it worth it. Good luck mate

I'm the same with the knives. Other than the Gerbers that he has, I wouldn't touch any of them.

Just found him. I sell backpacks on the side, so I have an interest in what people are buying. I think you could get a much higher quality pack than that one for just a bit more, depending on what colour you want.
I resell Crossfire packs with a rrp of $499 for $130, brand new. Top quality, Australian designed packs (made in Vietnam). I had the market to myself for 6 months until another guy local to me got in on the action. Which is fine, but I watched him buy his stock for more than double what I usually pay for mine, then undercut him on ebay. As a result he is selling his packs in OD Green for about $80 with free post, which is a substantial loss for him.
My advice is if you want a really good pack, 75l, with a heap better features than that rubbish you are currently looking at, and you want it in green, then buy from my local competitor for about $80. If you want Auscam or Coyote tan then the best price you will find anywhere, unless you are in WA (due to postage costs) is from me at $130 plus post (although I will do a bit better for forum members) . If you are in WA then here's a guy in Melbourne who sells the same packs for $169 free post.
a review here:

Do you have your range online? Yes, I'm in WA, but I'd rather pay a little extra to support a forum member.

Thanks for the responses guys. I'm looking at new BOB / packs that are light (that will be packed light as well). I have for many years owned a MacPac Cascade but it's heavy initially at 3.5kg (and rather bright in colour) and would like to go down to a 1.5kg pack or thereabouts.
The knives are just for 'looks' in case of being 'approached' so don't have to last or serve any other purpose.

If this is a genuine BOB (ie. the S has HTF) what will you do when you do actually need the knife to serve a real purpose? Check out any article or blog post on BOBs etc, and you'll find a quality full tang knife at just about the top of every list. In Dave Canterbury's 'Five C's of Survival' it's the first thing listed.

Oops, my bad. The knives are for secreting around the house and acreage not for the BOBs. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I'll ensure that I read the relevant threads.

For the sort of money he wants for those 'Rambo' style knives, I'd spend an extra $10 and get a machete. Still intimidating if needed, and very practical should you actually need to use it.
