Just had a look at the video and the best I can say about it is that they are not giving much away with regards as to how it works. Not sure what the $160,000+ price tag is for. Some time ago I saw a demonstration relating to a large, about a metre across, hard clear plastic dome that had the edge turned so that it was on the inside when it was sitting on the ground and formed a gutter, The idea was/is to place the dome over a container of saline/dirty water while the sun is shining and the heat would create condensation on the inside of the dome which would then trickle into the gutter which in turn had an outlet leading into a container outside the dome that collected the potable water. Really simple, no moving parts and I would say not cost prohibitive. I have had a scout around on the internet and could not find one but the following link may give those interested some ideas www.cleardomesolar.com/solarpurewaterstill.html
