Looks like we dodged a doozie.....
If this solar flare was directed at the earth it would of been a killshot level event.
This flare was about at big as they come.

It's amazing what is on the Internet! I have no idea how I arrived at this website but its fascinating! These people show how the sun is linked to earthquakes and tornadoes and give a daily 'weather report' but from what is happening on the surface of the sun to how it impacts earth. It's relatively easy to understand and they have a large community around the world that follow them. There is some amazing videos of the suns surface and solar flares etc. www.suspicious0bservers.org/ |
