Depends on the situation here. 1/ bov if an emp hasn't destroyed everything, and if the roads are passable. 2/ bo by foot if things are not vehicle accessable. 3/ bi if everything else goes to pot.

All of the above, depending on the situation.
PS: I clicked the first option intending to also click the others but can't, so the numbers will be skewed.

Kind of a few answers on that list. I live further out, though not too far as I work in the city twice a week, have 5 bug out locations that I can get to via car and 3 with a pack in less than 2 hours. They're not well stocked so that would be less than ideal, though if things warrant bugging out, then things would have to be awful or an emergency.
Bug out vehicles include in order of importance. - 2 cars [1 with a fold up bike!] - 5 possible locations - 2 normal bikes - 3 possible locations - on foot - 3 possible locations.
Some other thoughts.
My partner and I have plans to meet at the house if at all possible. Failing that the primary bug out location is not too far.
If I'm in the city [or anywhere else] and the car's not working/breaks down I've got my bug out bag with me, 20L of water as well as a fold up bike from which I would make a decision depending on the situation. I could go light and fast on the bike with basic necessities such as knife-water etc and get home in some hours or less likely but possible being careful and take my time, taking a heavier pack with me on the bike/walking though speed would be favorable and have no issues with leaving things behind if the situation warrants it.
If I'm in the city and have to get out with nothing, then I'll go through a bin/see some rubbish on the way home to find a drink container and some water sources will be safe [such as hot water services] to drink and I won't need much else at least initially and whilst it would take me a while, I'd probably be home in several hours and wouldn't need it anyhow. I already walk with my pack a few hours a week, so know I can do it. I have a keychain with a very basic knife/light on it for rudimentary tools. I don't have shelter though in urban areas there's tons of shelter around and I probably wouldn't need a fire. [To which I'm going to order a small magnesium fire starter right now to add to the keychain to fix!].
If I'm away from home at some distance and/or getting out with just my car, then I'm going to use the car as shelter, have 2 weeks of food, 6 days of water, cooking, tarp and so on and can easily get by for a little while whilst I figure out the next step. I've also got the bike for local transport or if I'm out of fuel. Portable radio in backpack for information if available.
Partner has lighter [10kg] bug out bag in car and is usually not more than 10kms from home, so a few hours at most to get home.
If I had to make a break for it with nothing from home, then fine, I can get to 3 bug out locations in at most a couple of hours, 2 have water and tools and some food, enough to give some buffer zone for what to do next.

1 BOV if it's still usable, small dirbike for 1 person if all else fails. good quality pack and hiking boots + waterbladder to be able to hike it out if need be.
