The previous owner of the property had build a fallout shelter in the midst of the Cold War fearing a nuclear attack from the Russians - 50 years on the supplies he had stocked were in excellent condition. 50 year old fallout shelter

It would be like discovering lost treasure. Lucky for them that they now have an underground bunker they can use.
Those items really looked fresh.

reminds me of those movies that had a lost bunker that was discovered only to find out that there were either German Zombie Soldiers or Japanese Samurai Zombies in them. I can't recall the names of those movies.
