livingoffthegrid.com.au/fruit-vegetables-that-can-grow-in-part-shadeWith Autumn here and Winter on our doorstep, it can be harder to find enough sun in some areas of your garden to grow edibles. We are on the Southern side of a hill in the Southern hemisphere, which can make it really difficult in the middle of Winter when she sun is very low. Listed below are fruits and vegetables that grow in part shade. Annual Lettuces Endive Chard Mint Sorrel Ginger Spinach Gooseberry Tarragon Watercress Linden Blackberry Beetroot Pawpaw Blueberries Mushrooms Blackcurrants Kale Asparagus Cucumber (needs 2+hrs direct sun per day) Blackberries Raspberries Sprouts Horseradish Rhubarb Coriander Thyme Radish

Good post, I have a similar problem with the house shading most of my garden in winter. I have been meaning to try growing blackberries for a while, this has motivated me to try and find a supplier again.
