There's lots of prepping channels on youtube, whilst I'm sure doing so in China might not be a good idea, though there's always VPN  Some channels [there's quite a few] that I like; =================== southernprepper1 - www.youtube.com/user/southernprepper1 - mostly secruity focused, was one of the two experts from 'practical preppers' who rated people's prepping on Doomnsday Preppers. The other was the next guy; engineer775 - Engineering projects, with a focus on water supply, to which is the most important aspect to prepping. Canadian Prepper - Excellent, well thought in a similar profession to myself. Ontario Preppers - www.youtube.com/channel/UCqWgsbdAkOYNg91tDHD2K6gnutnfancy - mostly firearms, with an element of prepping VikingPreparedness - Setting up communities and ex special forces, religious angle [I'm an Atheist] Maine Prepper - excellent channel, unfortunately his health means no more Hibernian Son - security related and plenty of rambling amongst the fantastic gems of info. Stick it out. |

Im a fan of a few of those channels (especially mainprepper) ...except nutnfancy , while the gear / guns he in his reviews is interesting I find him to be a bit of a ' tactical ' poser , plus his videos ramble on and on reguarly taking up to 20 , 30 , 40 minutes + on review items , where much of what he is saying in the video is off topic or nothing to do with the actual review ..... plus any negative comments or criticism see's people usually banned from the channel . To your list above I would add s00tch and his second channel SensiblePrepper . |

Odd that you like sootch and not nutnfancy.. I thought that sootch seems to model his vids off nutn'.
Nutn' is great if you're trying to decide between two multitools and have 3hours to watch the review of each then then comparison video.

I did enjoy Maine's straight talking, sensible thoughts and ideas, a shame that he couldn't continue. Yeah sure I like sootch also, plenty more channels also.
In terms of tactical, you know he's high ranking military? Not sure that makes him a 'poser'. Yes waffler for sure, he's got some good vids on food and prepping amongst the zillion gear reviews and I'd probably watch one in 10 vids consequently and many not relevant to the Aussie situation.

Have watched a few of those listed and will have to check out those I haven't seen. I liked Maineprepper and engineer775

With a few quiet days at work and around the house I have been watching a bit of youtube so thought I would check out southerpreppers videos, pretty good, will be watching a few I think.
Was also surprised to see that the Mainepreppers channel no longer exists at all

Yeah SP1 is pretty good. I didn't know about MP but he was pretty sick I think.

Yeah he had a few health issues which was evident in a few of his later videos. Sad to see his stuff gone though, lots of good info
