Finally got an ETA, a few more weeks is the current estimate... We'll see how it goes, otherwise I'll try the .40
Just checked your link, that's the same company as PBA imports but trading under another name. That's curious

Big w has increased their shelf space allocated to preserving. Although no wide mouth lids at all.

I have been searching for ages where to buy Red Feather TINNED New Zealand Butter. Lots of bum leads when finally I got a response from a rep of the company in Australia. You can purchase it from G&K Fine Foods in Victoria and 1800 626 368 will locate where they can be purchased in your state.

I'd like non-halal certified canned ghee.

Has anyone here got any shotgun sub-calibre adaptors? A lot of preppers talk about their usefulness and pretty sure its been mentioned here - but as to how to get them in Aus? I have no idea and am having no luck.

If I had to list all the stuff I can't get I'd be here all day. Basically anything Lehman's in the US sells . Last night I was searching for Pullman bread pans. Not too badly priced in the US but far too expensive to get here. Often I'll track down an Aussie source for something then not buy as it's just too pricey. My dream holiday would be a fortnight in the US and two containers to fill LOL.

Not too badly priced in the US but far too expensive to get here. Have you looked at shopmate.auspost.com.au/?ilink=mm-shopmate.auspost.com.au-1 - it's an Australia Post service by which one can shop with a US address; I've heard it reduces shipping costs to Australia (depending on the supplier). I believe some private services exist as well, but don't have any information on them. I do know some folks use them to buy some items from Amazon (& others) that the supplier won't ship to Australia.

I have checked them out, we are on a super tight budget and unless it's something I NEED not something I want it still works out too much for me. I have a few friends in the US and I can ship stuff to them and they repack but I have to save it for stuff I really, really can't live without . I do still buy a fair bit of stuff through amazon or ebay. Our milking machine was so much cheaper, as was one of my sewing machines. My first canner came from the US, before the days of Aussie stockists. It's all abut the $$ these days though as our ever shrinking income just won't stretch as far as I'd like it to. Far too many toys out there .
