Spent the weekend with some people that have better internet than I do and came across this person while surfing Youtube. www.youtube.com/user/engineer775

He has a LOT of videos with some interesting topics including wood gasification to run generators and this one that I especially liked: It is about the Rife River Pump.

A lot of the stuff he does would cost a lot out here but must be fairly cheap in USA.

Another thing to note, it was his company [and also have Southernprepper1] 'practical preppers' who were the advisers and scorers in 'Doomsday Preppers'.
