I have had this feeling for the past few months that we may see Martial law in the very near future.
This feeling has prompted me to make a few changes at home. The first change was a few months back with the introduction of a power loss alarm. This lets out a 120db squeal if the power to it is cut. This is plugged in under my bedside table.
Reading up on Martial law, the first of tasks carried out by the gov is to sever internet/phone and local power utilities. This alarm will hopefully give us the heads up if this was to happen.
Secondly, i have moved all my "defense" preps into the house from the garage. Included in this is my gun safe, firearms and ammunition's. My two way handhelds, knives, torches, BOB etc. These are now with-in hands reach, rather than having to get to the garage.
Given the camper is RTR, we could potentially be out and on the road in around 10 mins.
