Well, started a new thread for 2016, so here goes;
A lot of my tomatoes got badly burnt while I was away from home, but we are still getting a good handful of cherry tomatoes each day. And, a LOT of chillis!!!
Today the Mrs threw out a bag of potatoes that were starting to sprout, so I had 6 old pots, and cut the potatoes in half, and planted the sprouting pieces. More an experiment than anything else.
I have a small hot house, so in the morning I am planting some Red Russian & Siberian tomatoes - they are supposed to be an all year round tomato, as long as there is no frost. So, this is my other experiment.
Started to plan my winter crops - and now need to make a small written plan of my veggie patch and work out what is going where once it cools down a bit.

Very keen if that is an option. Yeas, so the packet says!! I've planted out some Siberian tomato seedlings today - I have about 5-8 seeds left. If you want them, pm me and I'll send them to you. I'll also add some red russians too if you like. Re the chillis, we found adding dried animal manure around the plants increases the heat by a LOT!!! Also planted out some cabbage seeds, and experimenting with Dragon Fruit. They reckon on the packet it can grow in areas whose temp is as low as 0c. So will see how it goes.
