Funny, I've felt 2 very small tremors today in my unit in CQ, one late this arvo that was enough to shake the unit from upstairs (not enough to rattle windows, but could defiantly feel it) and also for the missus to feel it downstairs and another about 9pm but not as much, just enough to feel a few vibrations in the upstairs floor.
I've combed over as many live quake maps as I can find and the last recorded quake in Aust was on Fri at Kilcoy. Makes me want to build a homemade seismograph for a bit of fun.
And no, it wasn't any big trucks roaring past, as I live on a small single lane street at the back of the town which big trucks can't get down, let alone go fast enough to rattle buildings, and on the this side of town, I am far enough away from blasting in the nearest mine to feel it, and the times the shocks were felt, was outside the blasting times allowed.

Joey when I was living up that way I would often feel the upstairs tremble (not always blasting)! Its like a slight vibration feeling coming from the floor! Have also felt the same thing here when there was a minor near another town and we do live on a main road with huge trucks going past! The sensation comes from below and just feels different!

Yeah, it's almost as if there is a secret underground mine under the town lol

Yup and I remember the 1989 Newcastle Earthquake, I was in Sydney and woke to my bed shaking (it was right next to the wall)! It was a more violent side to side movement but again the sensation is from the ground up!
