Thanks for the comments people, I had a great time doing these and it was a great learning experience. I am still looking for a anvil and some tools then I I will make a forge and start making some more little projects.
Hey Rob when you get it fired up, I will come up for a weekend and we can make some stuff, (or melt some stuff)
Not sure what the next projects will be after the leather sheath. As for Blacksmithing the guy that runs the course said let him know what I want to make and he will set a course for it, He said I am at the stage he will teach me how to make a Damascus billet and make a knife from that. Then I said maybe an axe, he said yep not a problem. So maybe in the future I will do that. I will have to start saving again.

Hey Aus, the course cost me $330 for the weekend. Saturday 08:30 to 15:30, and Sunday 08:30 until about 16:30. Morning tea and lunch supplied. It was the same price for the first course I done as well. The first course was a basic Blacksmithing course. We made a punch and a chisel then done heat treating on them then we used them to make our other projects. We made a decorative wall hook, I fire poker witch we had to do forge welding on then we made a pair on tongs, This was a more involved course as you were learning the different procedures. The knife making course was a lot more basic I think but again it was still a great learning experience.

Very nice work there mate. I would be happy with those. Look forward to seeing some more. Recently made a little brick forge to retreat an axe head.
