No, because I frankly couldn't give a stuff about the opinion of others. Of course if things go completely to rubbish, the PTB may be after me for this. "I'd rather die on my feet, than live on my knees".

The irony is that the poll doesn't let you see what other people have voted for till you have voted..
just in case you disagree or are the odd one out....
For me I'd rather get things out in the open so meaningful discussion can be held.
To many times I been in a situation where their is clearly an elephant in the room but people have been to scared to say anything cause it might upset or offend anyone.....

... whereas if I offend someone I generally don't care (it's their problem, not mine). And I actually have to value someone's opinion to be offended by it, so that never happens unless I know the person well.

I attempt to be as generic as possible, this way when the mongrels in Canberra start looking to round people up, I will look extremely boring.

Although a lot of young people don't seem to realise that the government where I am (China) actively monitors social media, and that it can be used as evidence in a court.

I guess what I meant to say is that a lot of people don't realise that while you can say whatever you want about the government in private, once it gets on social media it is either very quickly erased by the media company (which is liable for all content on its servers) or whoever posted it is hauled off to the cop shop for a chat. There is even a law that if a social media post gets reposted 500 times, and the government doesn't like its content, then the poster can be sent to jail for spreading rumours and hurting national security.

There are only a few subjects of discussion that I'll hold back on online, but generally I'll let everything else ride out, especially if it's in defense of our firearm laws and holding into what we have left of them

No. I've already come to terms with the fact that a socialistic government in power will round me up and send me to a death camp. I speak up to either die proudly or to have convinced enough people to convince others what is morally correct and what isn't. I stand happily by the morals laid down by 2500 years of philosophy and do my best not to break laws. Go right ahead... read away.

I've seen people get fired from their jobs for how they act online. I guess I kind of grew up with the internet growing as well and have experienced lots of young people including myself making mistakes online. Also some things are read out of context. I once posted a Facebook status about how I was so nervous about an exam the next day in high school and being an over extreme teenager probably added some things at the end I shouldn't of which resulted in my Aunty ringing my mother thinking I was going to kill myself! Of course none of my friends read this and thought I was in harm. But some people read things out of context and I do now make sure to be careful how I word things since once something is online it's there forever.

My company has special accounts with facebook and other social type stuff that they get alerted to anyone's posts mentioning their name and stuff. And when it pops up it's cross referenced to their HR records, and employees get pulled up and given a step notice if it's bad and contractors aren't invited back. So naturally I never mention anything g including the company name
