Yeah, our first stop in Sept is Bali too. Then onto Singapore, Cambodia & Vietnam.

Maybe if I start the letter "Dear Sir" as opposed to " Hey Numb Nuts", it will have more influence!!!

I get that the US has sided with Japan in the current Japan-China dispute, but don't understand why they've gotten in the middle of Indonesia-China fishing issue.

Especially when things are heating up with the Russians over Syria:

I think its a good thing that the Indos have started sinking fishing boats, regardless of whether from China, Taiwan or Vietnam.
Maybe the Chinese will take notice that they are not welcome anywhere in the South China Sea.
Doubt it though. I'm betting they'll just keep pouring money into training the "maritime militia" that accompanies the fishing boats, and providing free outfitting for newer and more modern boats that can operate further and further away from home.
