Firstly, I must point out that my iPad autocorrected preps to Oreos and the subject said "what Oreos are you focusing on" which made me laugh..
Anyway, I was wondering what's one thing in your preps you are focusing on? Could be food or water storage, heating/cooling alternatives, bug out locations ect.
I would say currently, my biggest thing is trying to get fit! Eating more real foods and trying to get my fitness ready for if/when I need to travel long distance on foot, or run from an enemy.

Water storage, food stocks, medical knowledge. There's a list of lower priority stuff I'm thinking about, including ammo as per frostbite's response, but it's too long to type!

Food and water would have to top the list at number 1 for me. Ammunition would place a close second, or, even 1.5 lol
Personal fitness is an awesome goal to have, one that everyone should have. But would it be listed as a prep? To me its more a lifestyle choice, but an important one at that.

Unfortunatly I have no way to prep ammunition, since I do not own a firearm in my home. Lately I've bumped up my medical supplies and always adding more food. I guess I'd change my answer to storing more water and making myself more aware of natural remedies to illnesses and injuries. Does that one count??

Water first, food second, ammo third. Unfortunately a stuffed shoulder has kept me from doing any shooting (including the required shooting to get my handgun licence), so that's put a delay on getting new firearms.
Personal fitness is a big one for me at the moment; too long spent each day sitting at a desk or in a car is really starting to add up, so as soon as the shoulder's fixed it's back into some serious training.

Water Storage/purification, Food Storage and Medicines/Medical Knowledge.
Would like to become more knowledgeable about bush survival, but the more reading I do the more convinced I am that I will die in the bush!

i intend to extend my food to 6 months. I live next to a river, so no issue. Maybe building a distiller would be next.
Then. Heirloom seeds and bow and arrows.
In case of fire in my apartment, I already have sufficient preps including 3 sets of camping pots and many ways to cook.

Knowledge & skills - how to run a semi-self sufficient home - self defense/martial arts - fitness
Things - further improvements of what I already have plenty of.

Why not just bang off a few with a 22 with your non-stuffed side? It shouldn't matter how you shoot, just that you do. And anyway it's important to practice with both hands.

Food - more accurately improving our garden. Also general long term food storage, a long way short of where i would like to be but it is improving.
Also, general bushfire preparedness. Cleaning up excess timber on our block before summer. Realistically this will take longer then one winter but needs to be done

Anything to do with heat.... jumpers, electric blankies, polar doonas, hot soup, pot belly stoves.... have found I really can't deal with being cold anymore I'm the opposite. Did most of my growing up in a pretty warm climate, but having lived in a aprt of Asia known for its hot summers and 90% humidity year round, I wish I could move somewhere where it never got above 28 degrees. At the moment (9PM) here its now 28 degrees, extremely humid and been pouring with rain for the past 8 hours. What am I concentrating on now? - Rebuilding my food stocks after the family rather unhelpfully chucked a lot of them out recently - Improving fitness (trying to walk at least 5km per day as a starter) - Saving money so can hopefully pay off outstanding debts by the end of the year

Do you wear a pedometer, Fitbit or use the Health app on iPhone to track your steps? I started tracking religiously about 18 months ago and it makes a big difference. The average Australian only walks about 4,000 steps (3km) a day. 10,000 is recommended for good health. I've only missed 10,000 once in the last 4 months when I fell asleep putting my daughter to bed. Had a stretch when I hit 20,000 7 days in a row and I felt great...and I'm a big guy. Something to strive for at least.

Last time we lived on our land I walked through the bush every day, between 5 and 10k depending on various factors. I must get back into that habit.

I used to have my iPhone pedometer connected to an app that gave a dollar to my selected charity for every 10k steps. Have had all sorts of issues with the phone though, and ended up removing all non-essential apps. I do around 1.5km walk from the bus stop to the office in the morning, then walk 4.5km home most days. With the walk around our office campus, stairs etc, I figure I'm doing at least 7km a day most week days. I try to do a 7km walking route I have at least once on the weekend too, although this doesn't happen that much now that we have hot weather. Our local government just finished putting in running and cycling tracks beside the river near our place, so will try doing a few km around that in the evenings once I get over this busy patch at work.

I did a 6km walk this morning, a 4km walk on friday, both times with the mrs. That Is a great goal to stick too , I can't due to disabilities , just 10 mins here and there unfortunately hits my limits , But I did get a electric bike to assist with further journeys , approx 40km range .
