Just wondering what you guys put in your homemade ration packs. Be it just ones you take camping/hunting or ones you keep ready packed with longlife stuffs for that occasion you need to grab and go. Not really looking for BOB contents

Peanut Butter w/ plastic spoon, foil pack of Premium crackers (Saltines), a Jack Link's Terriyaki Beef Steak and 1-2 Atkins Caramel Nut Bars. This lasts me most of the day when hiking or fishing.
Then again, I think of Snickers Bars as 'rations'. When I snowshoe (not here obviously) or golf I just toss enough Snickers in my bag to have one every 90 minutes.

I change out my BOB food every 6 months [this month and new year] and I use a meal replacement called aussielent myself. 500g is about as light as it gets for a balanced days worth of food, just add water. When I hiked, trail mix [nuts and dried fruit] was pretty awesome, lots of KJs in a small package, combined with dried biscuits and peanut butter.
