I went to a local food store today armed with cash, and good intentions to add to my food stores!!!!!
I grabbed a tin off the shelf, then recoiled and let it go........................
It was warm to the touch - not room temp. warm, but warm, say 25c warm. The store had its heaters on ( mind you it's about 10c outside.
So, I never bought a thing there (canned anyway).
Just be aware that this may be happening, and your food (canned) may be spoiled without you even knowing.

Whilst the heater would degrade the nutrients a little quicker, it's not going to cause spoilage unless there's a fault with the seal or it wasn't processed correctly [aka heated up enough] as canned contents are sterile.

Ok, but it still makes me think - I know not to buy dented cans, still not sure when they are so warm. Anyway, I spent my money on other things!!
