Taste of it mate! What's the taste? It is delicious...very creamy. Short of having cows and churning your own this is a wonderful option.

Found red feather canned butter 340g at Harris Farm today. Pretty pricey - I think $7.99 - but convenient to just gather a can at a time. Exp 1/10/19. It was in the fridge with other butter.

I just wish the supplier I have did the red feather cheese. But googling up on it, the red feather cheese is now done by Bega and called "canned cheese"

Interesting... Could fit a dozen in a 5kg satchel (only about $17 from aus post) pretty easily and I'm sure there'd be a few on here down for it.
Would you consider organising a group buy if people pre-paid?
I love the idea of canned butter I just don't need 16kg of it...

I'd be keen for a few cans if the group order was to happen...

I'd would also be keen for some canned cheese as well, if it happened.

Funny that last time I offered a group buy of it no one was I retested lol.
For those interested, can I get an idea on quantity? And I'll send an email off and find out, as I'm going to have to get them double shipped as they won't ship up my way and only to brissy so I'll have to get my friend down there to on forward them to me addig a few days to the travel.

Our Foodland has them for $7.99 a tin (cold).
Any more in SA want to buy in on a few tins ( just thinking it might be easier if all in the same State?? ).

If it's around the $8 per can mark, I'm interested in about 5 cans. Quantity would increase as price decreases...

Until I can get a definite price depending on quantities etc the price per can will be below $8

I'd go 5 cans as well, depending on price and quantity required, I could possibly go a few more.

I'd be down for around 5-6 cans also. Get to the right price point and that doubles though.

Haven't managed to find any in Tassie yet so bit the bullet and ordered 10 cans from Melbourne yesterday.worked out 50% dearer than WA once postage was addded on, but their postage was a flat $19.95 so if it works out ok I'll go through their website to see what else is of use to reduce costs. Will have to get my brother to bring a couple of cartons from WA when he comes across. Not an essential prep but everyone I know that tastes it loves it. Always try to keep a few cans just for a change every so often.
