An interesting interview with the directors on InfoWars and how they made the movie independent to Hollywood about the US getting taken out via corrupt senators and an EMP...

Too bad it flopped in limited release at the box office and is releasing directly to DVD. www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?page=weekend&id=amerigeddon.htmI watched a few trailers and it feels a lot like Going Home and the Perseid Collapse. Unfortunately, the acting and special effects aren't on par with a blockbuster.

I saw a Canadian movie the other day called Into the Forest that was about a family getting by after a blackout. Looked pretty low budget, and had a few plot holes, but was interesting to see the writers' take on how people initially didn't want to believe that it was a major event - ie. arcing up a genny just to play music, people having end of the world parties etc.

I just watched Amerigeddon, very cheesy acting and the PVC-pipe shoulder-fired rocket with beer-bottle projectile was a hoot Oh, and the woman up in the OP tower made from 1/2" timber planks that gets riddled with 50-cal, not a scratch on her. Good stuff.
