Hi!
I have been working in my vegie patch and am in the process of expanding my herb garden to include medicinal herbs.
Can anyone recommend what I should plant here? I have a preppers natural medicine book, but unfortunately it is a northern hemisphere (USA) resource. I would especially be interested in any native plants that I could/should source.
All advice welcome! |

I reckon get some Papaver seeds now - but only for use in WROL situation. That would have to be one of the most useful plants you could have if there is a complete breakdown in society.

Echinacea Anise Garlic Elderberry These are all great plants that have a myriad of healing properties (not as good as antibiotics etc but...) and ones like echinacea can become quite prolific if left unattended |

I'm terrible at identifying flora and fauna - ever seen a PDF with pictures? You and me both mate, but im trying to learn more and more. Ive found that growing them and interacting with them helps solidify the look of them from seed, to seedling to plant and plant then seeding or flowering itself helps. Ive got other ebooks there, were you asked for an upload if some have pics bud? |

Ive got the US Army field survival manual 21 on edible and medicinal foods which has some in it that we have here, but its too big to load here unfortunately.
