Hey all, I'm in the process of tweaking my BOB and shifting more towards it being a part of an INCH Kit.
What tools do you have or want in a BOB and/or an INCH? What do you foresee yourself needing/wanting? What compromises would you make on weight or size to make it manpackable and what would you only bring if you had a vehicle?
I'll post what I've got in my pack, what I've got piled together trying to sort through and what's in the tray of the hilux most days, and what will get thrown in if I'm bugging out after a few replies because I don't want to influence thought trains

For an on-hand kit to keep with a BOB, hammer, 12" and 6" shifter, screwdrivers, pliers and side cutters.
For a more comprehensive kit to keep in the car, one of those 120pce kits would be more then enough, plus nails, screws and electrical wire and tie wire and zipties and gaffa tape

I dont have a BOB or an INCH, but in my 4wd resides a snatch strap, entrenching tool, tyre repair kit, air pump, water, first aid kit, blanket, hats, sunscreen, anti bacterial hand gel, tissues, small torch etc etc. Yeh all that rides in the tray daily, basically my BOB will be my hunting pack. And the INCH with be that pack, plus tubs to throw in the tray, and a few special purpose bags of gear. I rent, with no backyard, 570km from family and 600ish from any reliable preppers I know. Also without road and rail freight, the local area will be proper stuffed. Unfortunately, bugging out is one of the better options for anything serious locally, though entirely depends on the condition of melbourne and surrounds as to if it's safe to go through there.

You could go east thru wagga wagga into southern nsw. That's an idea. Wagga is still 560km and the coastline is between 900-1000km though
