The video's fun, wish it was longer, I like stepping into someone's way of life for a while The Redoubt thing is mostly based on nuclear war survivability and it's accompanying lower density population. You'd also have to love the lifestyle to do it properly, as I get older, I'm happy to be away from crowds, the quiet of a few people around, I live in a rural town, it's great! As a 20yo, I wouldn't leave the regular night adventures and opportunities for dating and work. So it kind of depends, a balance of sorts. I know enough now to be able to hatch a pretty decent survivability plan for living in a city, mostly based on remaining unseen, it would have to be well planned, well supplied though I'm sure you could hold up somewhere. Certainly not 'in' a house, even the roof and probably the best place I've heard of is in is drive in a separate mostly empty garage [nothing to hang around for] that has a hidden roof space without obvious entrance points. It wouldn't be fun, though I can see how it could be done for months if needed with the right supplies.
