malewithatail: Finally drying out up here in the Northern rivers as well, now to see to the bees. At least my arthritis will be gone by tonight from the stings ! No, its not an old wives tale, the stings really do relieve the pain.

spinifex: I just competed another lap of the sun ... that makes 45.1 trillion kilometres traveled. Spinning the whole time at 1600 km per hour. Holy cow. No wonder I'm tired. And dizzy.

Tri-Polar: Didnt think it deserved a thread of its own. Ive been reading a good book with useful information lately. "The handbook, surviving and living with climate change". Information that is useful doesnt always relate to climate change.

In a 'supply scarce' situation one can soak an infected cut in Tomato juice/pulp and then apply a little lemon juice after rinsing off. Anyone who's ever made de-skinned large amounts of tomatoes when making sauce might have noticed how extraordinarily clean their hands are after they are rinsed off - I'm talking 'chemical peel' clean. I think I read somewhere tomato juice has enzymes in it that dissolve dead skin. So tomato juice/pulp dissolves anything necrotic in the wound and lemon juice kills germs.
that sounds excruciatingly painful, not that certain people on this thread would care haha
