I've been wondering this myself for months. Finding some is critical to the success of my TEOTWAWKI pizza. Looks like they export it but I haven't found any locally for a price that could justify buying it. I'm sure ziggysdad will pop up to recommend red feather on the butter front, he seems to have an endless supply of the stuff

I do have a lot of Red Feather Butter, which I purchased directly from the source (delivered from Ballantyne Foods - you need an ABN to purchase directly).
I'm not a big fan of Bega Canned Cheese. I store the shelf-stable Kraft Cheddar blocks, Velveeta and Parmesan.

What's the costing on the red feather there ZD? Also do they have any other stuff that would be worth stocking up on?

Purchased directly through Ballantyne:
12 x 340g for $55.20 = $1.35 / 100g
vs
24 x 454g for $150.00 = $1.37 / 100g
redfeatherbutter.com.au/
All Ballantyne sell is Butter - mostly fresh to restaurants/food service.

No problems at 1-2 years - cheese gets a little darker with age, but tastes just fine.
I assume it will last 3-5 years without any issues.

I haven't tried but I did a bit of digging on the website and...
Pallet Multiples It is Bega Cheese's preference that all orders are placed in pallet multiples. With the current high levels of automation within our plants and warehouses, less than pallet orders can cause disruptions.

Comes up on evil bay occasionally last lot I saw was 5 x 340g cans for $39 pretty sure it was close to expiry though hence I didn't buy it. I keep a bit of the alfoil wrapped kraft in the storeroom usually about 18 months expiry.

Coles or woolies hidden away amongst the spreads from memory not where you'd expect to find cheese goes on special regularly $5 for 500g block

Will have to swing by and have a look tonight. Even on an 18 month rotation would be worth having a few kgs in case we ran out of cheese... Which happens on a very regular basis

The kraft one is on the bottom shelf near spreads like Vegemite. There are also the jars of spreadable cheese there - that I've heard you can heat and use as a cheese sauce although I haven't tried it.
I buy some when it's on special. The jars of spreadable are available in supermarket brand as well as kraft, so are pretty cheap.
