With you 100%. If you cut away the political spin and media hype ... the Russians appear more reasonable in their action compared to the USA.

With you 100%. If you cut away the political spin and media hype ... the Russians appear more reasonable in their action compared to the USA. If you follow the events time line all the way back to when the US went into Afghanistan you will find Russia and Putin in particular has done everything he could to befriend the west and each time its ended up costing him dearly its a very little know fact that Russia opened up its air space to armed NATO and coalition fighters in the early days of the intervention in Afghanistan and even allowed one of its air bases to be used for refuelling their aircraft
Yeah fancy that an armed NATO fighter refuelling at a Russian air base Russia tried to build very strong ties with the west using the fight against the Taliban as a bridge of common interest but basically the west ruined the chance by pure arrogance and pretty much trying to tell Russia that they were just a fuel stop and nothing more then the final collapse of building bridges came when Russia and china both backed and supported the no fly zone over Libya on the understanding that NATO would only intervene to shut down any parties that were targeting civilian populations well sadly the ink was hardly dry and they went in and started destroying the Libyan government installations and bombing the palaces Russia and China both strongly objected to this betrayal but their complaints fell on deaf ears
So now we see the out come of all this
