Well, if they're all audited as the Greens want, then who knows how many seats are lost between all the parties?

I passed my citizenship exam a couple weeks ago and if I'm lucky I'll take my oath on Australia Day.
Not renouncing US citizenship, so no parliament for me...๐

I found out I had dual the other day with all this parliamentary business going on... Giving it up would be a hard decision to make for sure.

Dual with what country? Germany, anyone born pre 2000 to a German citizen is also a citizen automatically. Have been thinking about going through the process to get my passport and all that just in case I ever wanted to go to Europe. Would be nice if I ever needed to leave Aus in a hurry...

that makes me a triple citizen, of England, Australia and Germany. Possibly the same here... although I don't have solid info on the German part...

I read that Poland will give dual EU citizenship to children whose parents were born in Poland. Makes me eligible on my mum's side, though it may ruin my chances when I become the Supreme leader of Australia, followed by a week later when I rule the World.
As a sweetener, everyone here gets a free BOL of their choice, and supplies for 20+yrs.

I just found out I'm a Dutch dual citizen since being born to a Dutch father prior to 1985. On top of that, because I'm a Dutch citizen ... my kids are too since the laws got even more 'inclusive' for post 1985 born children. That's pretty handy; I got a BOL in Europe now! (95% of family relations are all still over there.)
