Thanks Frostbite, was there a reason given? Supply shortage or not shipping due to legal issues or?

I've got a good stock of rifle powders as I don't really shoot that much... I could easily run out of handgun powder with a shortage though. Will pick some up Monday, thanks for the heads up Frost!

From what I've got from it, it's just alliant powders effected. ADI and Winchester are still fine, but none the less, think I might order another large tub of 2208

I think what could happen is as soon as rumour starts going around of a 'powder shortage' it wont matter what brand you use people will be stocking up. I don't think the Australian market isn't that deep that it can take huge shocks.
I only use AP70N & 2206H (2207 occasionally) and don't really feel like making all new loads... will probably have to pick up at least a little of both.

To get the 4kg tub of 2208 up this way, it's usually about at least a months wait to get in, mainly because they will just add it to their next bulk order rather then order it just for you. Down in a major city where there's a higher turnover it might be quicker
