If it miss-fired at the moment of loading they'd also set a world record for 'longest flight of a detached limb'!
I want to see him start up a line of aerostart + PVC pipe appliances.

Yeah it was a bit dodgy loading that ball. And imagine if any of the timbers broke while under load, yikes!

Back when we were teenagers, one of my cousins built a catapult using octopus straps ... one day a mounting bracket broke and a metal hook hit him in the face. He had to go to Flinders Med Centre to get his right cheek stiched back on. To this day he has a crooked smile ... lucky not to lose an eye I suppose.
