I used a small manual washing machine - a camping one, that you turn by hand - for my washing for about a year. The difficult bit was getting enough water out of things like towels so they would dry in a reasonable time.
I am always on the look out for a home made or inexpensive spinner.
Or as I think we’ve talked about here, another way to squeeze out clothes like a roller - can’t think of the proper laundry name now.

I have one and we used it for many years when living in the truck. I got this unused in it's original box, but hard to find these days however many motorhomers use them and there used to be plans around to make your own.
