Opened a can of Foodland Brand 2 Fruits (Peach & Pear) in syrup. It was bought in 2012/13.
Tasted great, though some of the fruit pieces were a little soft. But after 5-6 years, it's still ok to eat. Had not lost any flavour either.
I'll try the other one in 12 mths time.

Foodland still exists? Unless I've completely lost track of things I haven't seen a Foodland store in 30+ years...

I pretty sure its an SA ( and Broken Hill ) thing. My foodland is actually very competitive with the other big two. the fruit and veg are often better quality and cheaper as well.
