A couple of my citrus plants (namely my lemon & cumquat) have yellow leaves with darker brown patches. The others which are right next to them are fine - a deep, dark green. All are in pots.
Any ideas of causes/treatments?

Cause could be root rot from poor drainage?
What is the location of the plants regarding the weather, no excessive heat or cold?
I’ve also read it may be an nitrogen or Magnesium deficiency.
I’m sure a call to your local nursery may answer your question.
Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful, I can grow basic plants but that’s about all.

No extreme weather conditions (we're in Perth and haven't had a proper summer in 2 years, it's not yet cold for winter, and is right next to healthy citrus plants). The soil & pots are the same as the healthy plants also.
I'm thinking a nutritional deficiency, but I lack the knowledge to be sure. Although Epsom Salts do help hibiscus with the same condition...

And I just noticed the thread title; I do, in fact, know how to correctly spell "yellow"...

Can you post some pics?
My lime tree gets similar damage when I get tardy with watering. If they in pots might pay to make sure water is soaking the entire root mass and not flowing out drain holes via cracks or water repellency issues.

Symptoms vary according to which nutrient is lacking. Nitrogen deficiency causes light green to yellow leaves all over the tree; magnesium deficiency appears as a yellowish-green blotch at the leaf base that spreads outward; and yellow leaves with green veins are caused by a zinc or iron deficiency. homeguides.sfgate.com/lemon-tree-leaves-turn-yellow-101788.html

If they are in pots is it possible they are getting root bound? Maybe they need to go in the ground.
