I’m considering getting a small camping freezer that can use 12 or 240 v - I want something that can just plug in for normal use at home. I think I only want about 30-40 litres.
The prices for these at camping stores are about double the prices of the ones on eBay. Any tips Re brands, where to buy, brands to avoid, etc.
It definitely needs to maintain a consistently cold temp when plugged into 240 v to keep things safely frozen.

Had mine for 22 years never missed a beat. The new ones draw half the amps as my old one does

Thanks kiwi. I have heard that an Engel is a great brand, but I don’t have the money for it. I’ll have to get the cheapest I can that will do the job - even if it means saving to replace it in a few years.
