Good info there. Not to brag, but for an old guy I'm pretty good at making jam. Sweetie is better of course. Here in the GWN we have a number of quite prolific wild berries to include both high and low bush cranberry (low bush usually means Lingonberry) Saskatoon berry and Honey Berry, both a blueberry relative somehow. Thimble berry, like a raspberry, and a couple different colors of currents.
Problem is it is always awkward picking berries with a 20 inch barrel 12 gauge slung over your shoulder because you WILL have competition from bears for any fruit.
