Spend a little but often to build your reserve supplies.

10 X 2 litre water bottles are better storage than 1 X 20 litre container. Always keep at least one 2l bottle per person in your car plus 1 or 2 spares for every day driving.

Use old soft drink and fruit juice bottles appropriately rinsed with bi-carb to remove residual flavours.

Relax. What could possibly go wrong?

If the power is going to off for the foreseeable future quickly layer your deep freeze goods like bricks...itll keep the goods frozen longer...also if you have freezer room now make big ice packs with deep dish cooking trays and then bag them (tightly with ziplock bags and tape or if poss seamseal them)...use them as layer separators for stacking the goods in your Esky to move them...a couple of days extra breathing space...
