Nice enough video. There are a thousand ways to go about this. About 900 of those ways depends on location and weather, to my thinking.
Here in the far north bush, we have a substantial outhouse. Has been in business quite a number of years and has many years of service left in it. It is totally insulated, easily plowed out in winter with the snow blower. In cold weather there is a ring of pink hard foam insulation to sit on. And it even has a rifle rack in it. The rule is, you ALWAYS take your rifle INTO the outhouse with you.
Don't laugh..... You would be surprised how many people have been trapped in an outhouse by a bear. Most made it out OK. But without a rifle available a few have not made it out alive.

My missus would not need a rifle...
Two reasons...
1. She could employ chemical warfare...Or,
2. She could loudly until I walked out and bellowed back 'WHATS THE FRICKIN PROBLEM?...ungh! eck! argh!...'Lol...
Actually a third reason...she wouldnt be doing an outdoor shithouse...despite having married one...Lol (again!)...

Um ... why build a crapper so close to a waterhole? Seems risky for contaminating the water.
