Good reason to keep 'extremist' comments off a public forum.

I imagine a real cross section of the prepper community would reveal that most are not far right nut jobs. However that revelation would lack a sensationalist edge for the media to talk up. If SHTF, my hit list would be rabbits, ducks, yabbies, boars and deer

This raises an interesting question...
If someone was to post about engaging in #public disorder and #violence because they want to #prepare to #survive an #apocalypse brought on by #climate change, would these keywords also be seen with disfavour?

Both my wife's and my parents grew up in the "Great Depression". All four of my grandparents not only lived through it, but prospered. Until the day she died, my grandmother had a walk-in pantry, about half he size of my kitchen, filled from top to bottom with food, both store-bought and home-canned. My mother did the same. We do the same. Our children are doing the same. Hopefully our grandchildren will follow in the family tradition.
It's not "prepping", merely common sense!

Which key is that Spinifex? The one to the 'hit list' code! Don't tell me it isn't a secret list of political parties/leaders or something. (Remember we are supposed to be nutjobs? That's now my pet conspiracy theory!)

I look awesome in my tactical tin foil hat. It's painted matt black on the outside and is shaped like a F117 stealth fighter. It deflects all the alien and government mind probes whilst remaining stealthy in the dark. But it also has the magnetron out of me mums old microwave oven mounted on top that is attached to one of those little power storage units that can jump start a kenworth.
At the flick of a switch it sends out an electromagnetic pulse that can fry the brain circuits of any living thing within a fourteen metre radius. Drops them on the spot. Came in real handy one time when I found myself being attacked by a swarm of Abyssinian killer bees. I remember the angry buzz of the swarm descending on me with terrible fury ... and a few stings ... before setting off the 'death pulse' The next thing I know I'm waking up in hospital. Four days later. Stinking of burnt hair. Wearing an adult nappy. Maybe that magnetron doubles as a teleporter?
I tend to forget things a lot since that day: Where I put my keys. What day of the week it is. How to work the TV remote. How to butter toast. I put that down to old age.
But even if that were true... (which it could be) ... it is nowhere near as funny as the one episode of Doomsday Preppers I watched where a Navy SEAL wannabe blows the end of a finger off with his glock, takes a look at the wound and faints and is hauled off in a lovely ambulance to the nearest lovely high-tech hospital for some TLC. All on camera. It was comedy gold. The man who thinks he's surviving an economic collapse can't survive an hour at the pistol club surrounded by friends and a camera crew.
I'll now return you to your regular programming ...

I didn't see that one (although admittedly I gave up on the whole Doomsday Prepper thing after about 4 episodes). Although it does remind me of an Doomsday Prepper Australia episode (S01E01 maybe?) where a young bloke gets his naginata tangled in a clothes line. For the safety of himself and others, I pray he never tries using nunchaku...

So true Pete...the truly sad thing is the state will no doubt feel that that TV reality star is responsible enough to drive a car- for which they can charge him with a licence issue, tax him by way of fuel levies, support their corporate friends in the vehicle industry, and keep the legal enforcement and media industry gainfully employed...lol (oh be still my sarcastic heart!)...

Buzz word Bingo...... The last machine shop I ran before retirement, they had an old plant manager who retired but they needed to keep him on the pay roll for some reason. So they made him into what we called a "seagull manager" Once a year he would fly in, crap on everything, then fly out. Little Debbie from the office made buzz word bingo cards for the big meetings. It was fun. The far left seems kind of the way of the seagull manager. Crapping on everything, more concerned with buzz words and labels than facts and provable data. !@#$% If SHTF, my hit list would be rabbits, ducks, yabbies, boars and deer Here in the north that will be moose, geese, salmon, bear....

We call it 'Wank Word bingo'. It's a great game.
Pretty much everyone in politics, in every party, at every level, is into it.
