I've seen a vid about that town before and thought "Man there ain't much there and it's bloody remote". Then I watched that second one about the railway line village, it's even remoter. A big day in town for them is going to the really remote village

My parents lived out at Reid (WA Nullabor railway settlement) back in the late 60's. Just 4 families. Dad was only one with a car but there were no roads just very basic wheel tracks. No electricity either. 'shopping' was via a train that pulled in once a fortnight. Only fresh fruit and veg was what dad grew in the garden.
After I came along they moved down the line to the 'big smoke' - Cook. (also nullabor railway but a bit bigger)
