It's definitely something that is a concern of mine. We have already installed good motion activated lights and good security cameras around our buildings and security was the reason for looking into and building the broad area outdoor wifi system on our farm and in future solar powered Poe to wifi remote cameras.

At least here in Oz rural crime as applied to farms is rarely violent - fuel, small equipment and stock thefts are the main things. Unlike Africa and South America which seem to have real problems with gangs who like rape and murder.

... Although meth related violence in regional towns is supposed to be on the rise I can't tell it apart here from the traditional alcohol fueled violence.

Relax. What could possibly go wrong?
