I've only got one trail camera (12Mp little acorn) on my place, it wasn't exactly cheap at nearly $200 but it is rubbish. I'm interested to hear if anyone has recommendations on trail cameras available in Australia which trigger reliably and produce decent quality images - ideally ones which don't produce a glow from their illuminator/flash LEDs.
Now that we have deer coming to the property I would like to get some more trail cameras and hopefully be able to identify the species of deer.

I know of only one species of deer: edible.

I used a couple of these for farm security. Selected solely on the basis of what the rural supplies place had in stock. They performed as needed for collecting images of cars and number plates. Bit tricky for sensitivity. We developed some neat little tricks to conceal them ... which I reckon is the art to be mastered in using them against people. www.silvan.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/MANSECURE01.pdf |

Heh, heh. Yep! Having checked out pictures of the ltl Acorn on the web it seems a fair bet they come from the same factory. Wonder if they have any different componentry on the inside?
