$500,000 does seem a bit steep. Not a bad location though. Not too far away from Sydney. May be hard to get to if SHTF and you're in the city though.

This was one I had an eye on. Pretty sure I wouldn't have had an income after I moved there though.  4 bedroom, 1700 acres - "an hour and a half drive from Bombala and Orbost" probably the closest main towns [and they're both small towns] for $200,000!!
