Same. It irritates me that I have non-deductable debt (aka home loan) but I am forced to put money into what is effectively a taxed and inaccessible savings account. Good for those who are bad at self-managing their money. Bad for those who work hard and invest hard.

US dropped interest rates to zero and pumped $700bn into market to no avail, pre-trading has gone into a halt with more than 5% drop. Aus stock market (ASX) down almost 10% today.

US stocks down 12% across the board, everything sold including gold as companies run out of operational capital. For example Boeing bought $100bn of own shares a few months back to make the company still look good. With their shares down close to 24% overnight that is a big financial bleed - companies hiding their financial problems are going to be exposed - expect massive bankruptcies in the next few weeks.
The company I work for remote office has now decided to divide the various team (marketing, engineering, financial, HSEC) in half - and work every second day from home. To reduce the probability that an entire team gets taken out by the virus.

that better not get reported on our TV/mainstream news if the reporters know whats good for them- they won't escape the effects of it themselves

Just heard from a mate via the raaf, take all tools home today, government announcement on Sunday, could be locking down. Defence force has been told to suspend all training so that they can assist with lockdown measures. Sounds similar to what has happened in Spain and Italy.
