From personal experience, your every day Joe in China doesn't realise that the rest of the world is pissed with China now for various virus-related reasons. All they can see is the garbage news put out by the government that the US is out to get China and anyone else that happens to say anything they perceive as anti-China is just an "American running dog". The government is also putting out fake news that any countries complaniang about low quality face masks etc are just China haters (meanwhile now also stopping export of a lot of goods from China due to quality issues though).
I mentioned to my wife about the issues around Australian barley and steak issues. She doesn't pay any attention to the Chinese news, so didn't what I was talking about. A while later she read the news and said "oh yeah, the government is stirring people up against foreigners again".

I've been watching it in our news wondering if it had been sorted or what the story is

Seems there is a pattern here.... China will be buddy, buddy with some country until they are dependant on trade, investment, fill in the blank.. Then thy turn into the nagging partner type.. You all know what happens then... Someone ends up being taken to the cleaners one way or another..
My 5 cents of opinion..

It is reported there are a number of countries, US and others taking China to task for the way they handled letting outsiders travel and spread the virus to the rest of the world, while handling there own people differntly.. This kind of reads like a "throw the cow over the fence some hay" description, but in the end saying China is responsible for the spread and liable for damages.. This is where they are going with this talk..
There is a Canadian watch dog group that put out you tube vidoes about the government.. Called True North.. They are saying Trudeau is not speaking up about this as he ooesn't want to offend China to sabatage his chances for one of the rotating seats on the UN security counsil.. China has a permanent seat and could block him at will it seems.. Saying he seems bent on securing this at any cost, or at anyones expense... Except him of course..
There 5 cents of opinion it seems..

Seems any group of countries dealing with China, it will be easy to determine who has control of the country by do they or do they not speak out against China when it is there turn..

122 countries now backing our push for an inquiry into china, many of them are demanding resolution of their debt to china for infrastructure projects etc.. +++ It seems there is already feelings by many that if pushed about this, China will just say what do you think you can you do about it, bugger off.. And indeed what can any individual country or group of countries do ??
Once it gets to that... Then you damn well better be ready for the next virus they send.. Likely to make this virus look like a simple head cold compared to what may come next..

Australian government destroys export market in futile attempt to bignote themselves by forcing China to admit Covid19 is a bio weapon that got loose.
China counters by giving corrupt WHO two billion dollars to rubber stamp report that China wasn't responsible.
Scomo needs to learn that when your nation is a guppy in a pool of sharks, you really need to pick your battles. I hope the Nationals hold him to account, but I doubt that will happen, they turned their backs on farmers long ago.

I reckon the fact that Russia also supported the motion is the reason China has now agreed to a report "in principle". The African countries all calling for an investigation was probably also somewhat unexpected in China, seeing the amount of money they have pumped into many of them. Of course, the WHO will no doubt say that everything was done correctly and that any "mis-steps" were entirely due to national governments not following their advice (WHO seems to have forgotten they were telling countries not to close their borders in January-February).

China imposes 80pc tariff on Australian barley for next five years amid global push for coronavirus investigation
++++ This is kind of interesting... Why would they put a tariff on something they use to feed there people.. ?? ?? Can they get it somewhere else ?? Let there people go without ??
A couple years ago now (?) China stopped buying Canadian canola oil for some excuse seemingly over something said about there human rights policy.. So it seems it was partially a thing to say to Trudeau, watch your mouth.. Some thought it was just to get a better price... Maybe... maybe not...
Does China feel they are in a position to put a hurt on other countries by actions like this. ?? ?? Maybe some countries.. Likely not all.. BIL does a lot of custom plant, custom harvest of small grains, canola and the like.. He says there markets are recovering.. I'm going to guess many countries will jump at the chance of food stuffs coming available..

If anything it should kick other nations into gear and develop new markets that make us all more China proof. This won’t go unnoticed but the big few global companies have totally pussified the west with their concept of “capitalism” and we lapped it up while things were “good”.
It will be hard to dislodge the parasitic companies that now call China home.
