In any conflict you can guarrantee there will be CCP soldiers in Australian uniforms pretending to be Australian-Chinese.

Then you haven't seen the changing makeup of defence force recruiting. In particular the university regiments (officer cadets) are becoming increasingly Chinese. An entire section would be unlikely, but a group of 4 or 5 is quite normal. Throw on cam paint and a couple of fluent English speakers and you've got an effective 'false flag' squad.

As someone of Asian descent, the whole thing makes me quite uncomfortable. You only need to look back to WW2 to see the US internment camps. With the current covid crisis, I already feel like there's a potential target on my back when I go out despite the fact I'm basically 100% born and bred and Australia (don't speak a shred of Chinese), and my Asian wife is born and bred in New Zealand (barely speaks any Cantonese).
Yesterday I got told off by a lady in the supermarket because I walked too close to her while chasing my 4 year old back into the checkout line. I wonder if she would have done the same to a parent of non-Asian descent.
Sad times.
